[뱀선생] 기어즈 오브 워 4 새로운 업데이트 내역(패치노트) + 패치 방법

2016년 10월 11일에 발매된 기어즈 오브 워 4(Gears of War4, GOW4, 2016).

원래는 마이크로소프트 퍼스트파티 독점 타이틀이어서 XBOXONE 콘솔에만 즐길 수 있었지만

E32016 게임쇼에서 발표된 혁신적인 XPA(Xbox Play Anywhere, 콘솔 PC 통합 정책) 으로 인해

PC 윈도우10 스토어 용으로도 동시발매가 되서 화제였음.

뭐 어쨌거나 PC게임 플랫폼의 갑은 스팀인데

후발주자로 윈도우10 스토어 + 엑스박스앱 플랫폼이 들어온 상황이라 확실히 부족한 면이 있음.

오늘 발표된 기옵워4 최신 업데이트 패치에도 이런 허접한 점이 발생함.

제작사 측 홈페이지에서는 기옵워4 패치를 받기 전에 윈도우10 최신 업데이트를 먼저하라고 써있는데

그럼 윈10 스토어에서 기옵워4 업데이트를 하기 전에 '윈10 업데이트를 먼저 해주세요.' 이런 메세지라도 띄우는 절차가 있어야하는데 그런거 없다. 걍 바로 기어즈 오브 워 4 업데이트부터 냅다 받음. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

확실히 윈10 스토어와 엑스박스 앱은 서로 통합이 되고 더 발전을 해야될것 같음.

특히 더욱더 친절해야 됨.

윈7에서 바로 윈10 업그레이드 한 사람의 경우 기어즈 오브 워 4 샀는데 어디서 다운받냐고 묻는 사람까지 봤음.

스팀 따라잡으려면 아~~~~~~~~직 멀었음 -_-;;;

개인적으로는 응원함 ㅋ

지금 연말처럼 한글화만 쭉쭉해서 AAA급 대작 한글화 러쉬를 지속적으로 보여달라~!!!!

기어즈 오브 워 4 최신 패치 업데이트 하는 방법

---

1. 먼저 [시작] - [설정] - [업데이트 및 복구] 메뉴로 이동해서 업데이트 확인을 누르고 최신 업데이트 패치를 한다.

(아마 재부팅하라고 뜰 수 있음. 저는 컴퓨터를 재시작하라고 나왔음)

2. 똑같이 windows 업데이트 메뉴로 이동해서 최신 업데이트 상태인지 확인한다.

(위 사진처럼 장치가 '최신 상태입니다.' 라고 써있으면 윈10 최신패치 된것임)

3. 이제 기옵워4 업데이트를 하면 되는데 [시작] - [스토어] - [검색 옆 설정 버튼] - [다운로드 및 업데이트] 로 이동한다.

참고로 검색 옆 사진은 자기 윈도우10 로그인 아이디마다 다를거임. 저는 옛날 윈8 쓸때 설정해놨던 사진이 뜨네요 ㅋ

4. [다운로드 및 업데이트] 메뉴에서 기어워4를 업데이트 하면 됨.

(만약 기옵워4 업데이트가 안뜬다면 업데이트 확인 버튼을 누르면 뜰거임. 

그래도 안뜨면 자동업데이트로 패치됐을거라고 생각함 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ)

제가 기옵워4 최신 업데이트 전 버전이 9.1.0.2로 

수정날짜가 10월 10일로 발매전날 프리로드 받은 날짜임을 알 수 있음. 

딱 발매 당일 버전 ㅋ

5. 정삭적으로 최신 패치로 업데이트 됐다면 윈10 스토어를 다시 켜서 업데이트로 들어가 확인해보면

기어스 오브 워 4 버전이 9.2.0.2로 바뀐걸 알 수 있음.

(참고로 패치시간 엄청 김. 

거지 같은 요소 중 하나가 80기가짜리 게임이 바로 패치만 덮어씌우는게 아니라 

또 압축을 풀고 덮어씌우고 하는지 일시적으로 추가 용량이 엄청나가 잡아먹음. 

여유 공간이 40~50기가 더 있어야 패치할때 오류가 안뜰것 같음 -_-;;;)

대충 메치메이킹 즉 방 잡아주는 기능이 개선됐다고 하고

그외에 엘리트팩이 4천 크레딧에서 3천5백으로 가격조정 및 멀티에서 얻는 크레딧 획득량이 증가했다고 함.

Gears of War 4 Title and Live Updates - October 11th 2016

Hey Gears fans – 

 

Today we have released some new updates for Gears of War 4, with a small Title Update to fix a blocking issue in Campaign and additional server side tweaks. This may cause some server disruption for a short while as it deploys. 

 

Title Update 

We have released a small Title Update which is rolling out now to address a known issue that can block progress and require a Chapter Restart in Act 3, Chapter 5. 

 

On Xbox One, this title update will be approximately 200mb. 

 

On Windows 10, this title update will be approximately 300mb. In addition, you will need to ensure you update to the latest OS to receive this Title Update and future Title Updates. Please update now to get this patch. 

 

You can update by going to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your PC is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available.  

 

If you launch the game on Windows 10 without the update, you will get a message that an update is required to play with a link to the store. Clicking this link only minimizes the game when it takes you to the Store - please close the game fully before updating to avoid errors.

Matchmaking Update 

Our Online Services team continue to work around the clock on rectifying some of the matchmaking issues encountered by players. We have deployed another server side update which we anticipate will improve matchmaking times. We'll be monitoring it's impact closely. 

 

Dodgeball Rounds To Win Increase 

Rounds to Win: 3 -> 4 

We’ve increased the Rounds to Win limit to extend the time spent in Dodgeball matches, which our data and fan feedback indicates is currently running a little on the low side. 

 

Credits Change 

We’ve made some changes to the Credit Gain rate based on our data and fan feedback. Please read more about that HERE.
